Ben Roundtree’s Symphony No. 1 in D, “Heroes” was composed in 2014-2015 and is in five movements.  It is written in honor of Ben’s musical and spiritual mentors.  It was commissioned by the Liya Dovgalyuk Foundation.  It was first performed on October 23, 2015 by the Worship Orchestra of Washington.

I. Greatness Through Humility – dedicated to Samuel Hsu (7:14)
II. Apprentice Maker – dedicated to Bill Fasig (7:42)
III. Live By Faith – dedicated to Randy Haynes (4:30)
IV. Dwell Together In Unity – dedicated to Angie Hunter and Chris Woods (4:37)
V. Enjoy the Day – dedicated to Tim Zimmerman (6:36)
